Please, Daruma-doll. Matsuo Miyu (23 August 2020)

Oh no—!!!!

I’m wearing the same clothes in this picture as last time!
And I still have my earphones in!!
Even though I haven’t looked at my homework, there’s still room for mystery!!
Also
I can’t afford to pay back my loan to Mr. Tom Nook!!!

I’m Matsuo Miyu, and I’m 16 years old from Chiba prefecture.

Lately, my favourite food has been nasu.
I really like lotus root.

Wait, that’s wrong, it’s eggplant

I realised it after I typed it the first time.

But I didn’t want to just delete it,

I thought I’d correct it politely.

An eggplant is an eggplant.

[TL note: nasu is the pronunciation for eggplant 茄子 in Japanese, but she had written down the incorrect kanji for it, 那須, hence the correction.]

The 24-hour television broadcast began yesterday. ¨̮

I’ve been watching it right up until now! (  Ꙭ)

※ The time right now is between morning and noon on 23rd August.

It’s really, really, really, really bad that I haven’t finished my homework assignments yet, but

The 24-hour television broadcast has been up all night, so I’ll stay up with them too! And I’ll do my best to catch up with my assignments tonight!

There was footage of the seniors from NOGIBINGO!,
that I snuggled up and watched.

The warmth of the people, and their kindness

tells us the importance of the emotions that we should not forget.

And then there were the seniors who performed!!

The fireworks and the seniors were really, really beautiful and radiant; they were so beautiful.

The touching words in the lyrics came straight to me and touched my heart.

I’m so excited for today. ˊᵕˋ

Ah!!!

Oh,

Here’s a photo.

Ponytail.

Today it’s some sort of anniversary,
Someone’s birthday,

Everyday is an important day for someone somewhere.

That thought really excites me.

I’m going to be good friends with so many people

so that each day I can have a friend’s birthday party

and then we can eat cake every single day. (*ˊᵕˋ*)

Today! 23rd August!

Happy birthday
Mukai Hazuki-san!!

We talked with each other a little in the hallways during the filming of the 46-hours TV, I was really, really, really happy.
Reeeeeally happy.
I fell in love with her even from before I joined, every time I saw her on screen,
she smiles so much, and that’s why I’m so happy.
I wish I could say more than just “happy”.
But I’d be happy to talk to her again.

Hope you have a really great birthday. ⸜✿⸝‍

Today will be full of happiness!
I assure you of that!

Also, going back a bit

19th August was the final day of judging for the Sakamichi Joint Auditions.

2 years ago, on that day, I had so many mixed feelings and I can’t describe it in words, but

At least,
It’s thanks to me on that day that I am here now.

Thank you me.

And on 20th August

Happy birthday to

Shiraishi Mai-san and Akimoto Manatsu-san!!

I watched Shiraishi Mai-san’s YouTube live broadcast in real time, and was really glad that I could celebrate her birthday with her.

The graduation concert was also announced for the 28th October

Because it will be an online live concert without a participation cap, I’m glad that people will be able to participate regardless of how far away they are.

I think it’s brilliant that an unlimited number of people will be able to participate in Shiraishi-san’s graduation live.

I could feel the fun that Matsumura Sayuri-san and Takayama Kazumi-san were having through the screen,
I was also having fun!

She smiled and greeted me when I first joined, and she was just beautiful,
it was blinding,

I admire and respect her so much.

Happy birthday!

Akimoto Manatsu-san,
has been the closest presence to me ever since the group assignment announcement SHOWROOM broadcast.

During the SHOWROOM broadcast,
And during the Birthday Live,
And even during my first Nogizaka Under Construction appearance

She was always kind and always gave us words of reassurance when we were nervous.

I was so happy that I cried many times.

From the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful.

I’d really like to make a delicious cake one day too!

Time for a quick photo.

[TL: Matsuo Miyu. I want to be good at ballet. I want to do the splits.]

During kindergarten, this was my wish.

I’m guessing my mother was the one who wrote it for me.

I can’t remember and don’t know if I was any good at ballet, but

To my kindergarten self!!
My dream of being able to do the splits has come true! Yay!

On 21st August
Nogizaka46 was formed on this day.

It’s the 9th anniversary.

Congratulations.

The person I imagined I would be in the future 9 years ago,
and the person I am now are completely different, but

I’ve met so many wonderful people,

And I’ve been given an environment where I can work hard,

I’m a happy person.

I can’t imagine what I’ll be like in the future,

But I wish to be happier than I could ever imagine.

To the seniors, and the people who built this group up,
I want to cherish the result of the past 9 years.

Really, really,
Congratulations.

Tomorrow is~

Nao~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It was funny to read Nao~’s touching report, she is too kind-hearted. ( ᐙ )

Oh, did you participate in the bug-catching contest yesterday?

Lately, we’ve been talking about Animal Crossing.

I haven’t had the chance to meet you lately, so I’m really looking forward to doing that soon!

Thanks for reading to the end. ¨̮¨̮

Myuu. ¨̮

Bye-byeeeeeeeee ( Ꙭ )/”
